Making new friends at Wild Goose Festival

The thunderstorms couldn’t wash away all the excitement and important conversations happening at Wild Goose Festival last weekend. With fantastic musicians, rousing entertainment, top-notch presentations, and subversive spirituality, it was definitely a little bit of God’s reign manifested on earth. I contributed to the festival by speaking about the formational potential of smaller churches to a crowd that spilled out of the tent, and the conversation we had together was inspiring. There are so many folks who are helping to blaze new trails in what it means to do and be church together.

While at WGF, I spent a lot of time at the InterVarsity Press table, getting to know my fellow IVP authors. They’ve written some really stellar books that are worth the read.
