Practical Theology

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had too much time to focus on my blog. One of the projects that I’ve been involved in was a consultation for the 2013 conference of the International Academy of Practical Theology. I just spent 1.5 days with practical theologians from Ontario and Quebec, including Pam Couture (check out her books on children and poverty), Jean-Guy Nadeau, Robert Mager, Wenh-In Ng, and Elaine Champagne (for French readers, her book on children’s spirituality–Reconnaître la spiritualité des tout-petits–is a must!). It was great to meet new colleagues and friends and the whole consultation encouraged me about the field of practical theology in Canada, especially as it relates to issues of children’s spirituality!
