Thankfulness

Tonight I’ll be heading to my parents’ house to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. I have much to be thankful for this year: the end of old challenges and the beginning of new ones; new friends that I have met over the past year and old friends that I’ve come to know deeper; a family who supports, loves, and encourages me; a wife who is more loving than I can know; the gift of books and the ability to read and communicate with others across time and space. For all this and so much more, thanks be to God.
