Dave Csinos is an author, speaker, practical theologian, husband, researcher of children’s spirituality, and former children’s pastor. He is founder and executive director of Children, Youth and a New Kind of Christianity, a groundbreaking conference that was held in Washington DC, May 7-10, 2012. He is the author of Children’s Ministry that Fits and several articles, reviews, and resources related to postmodernism, children, culture, and spiritual formation. A Teaching for Ministry Fellow at Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto , Dave holds a BA in Religion and Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University, an MTS in Christian Ministry from McMaster University (Divinity College), and a ThM in Christian Education from Union Presbyterian Seminary. Dave and his wife, Jenny, live in southern Ontario, Canada.
Dave is a regular speaker on topics such as children and youth, spiritual formation, intercultural ministry, social justice, and postmodernism. He has spoken at churches, conferences, camps, and schools throughout the United States and Canada, including the Religious Education Association, the North American Children’s Spirituality Conference, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
